Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football that played in the National Football League. He played for 17 years in the field. Gonzalez is regarded as to be one of the top tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third place in total receptions, Gonzalez also was among the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's Studio. Gonzalez has been in FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL SUNSET) and is broadcast every Sunday at 11:00AM ET through the NFL season.
Gonzalez has signed a contract extension for Atlanta Falcons to run for two seasons and $14 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of being aware that Gonzalez was claiming he would like to retire following the 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player in active yards recieving the final time in his career.
